"Save yourself the headache — work with the AWSsome team."
Falcons.ai is a computer vision AI company. Its open source NSFW image detection model on Hugging Face has passed one billion downloads; the company offers hardened, closed source versions plus visual safety models. Bobbi Stattelman tells the story.

Sensitive models belong inside the customer’s own perimeter
Visual safety detection is a sensitive workload: customers don’t want to call an external API with this data. They want the models running inside their own network perimeter for data privacy, and for the data sovereignty laws arriving especially in Europe. The Marketplace lets them deploy Falcons.ai inside their own AWS infrastructure, within the ecosystem they already use.

Recommended by AWS itself
AWSsome came recommended by AWS. Since then, other integrators have reached out to Falcons.ai but the team stayed: quick answers, real expertise, and one decisive episode during setup.

The paperwork glitch that nearly killed the initiative
During Marketplace setup, an internal AWS paperwork glitch became a complete blocker. The team feared it would end the whole initiative.
In the words of Bobbi Stattelman from Falcons.ai:
"It probably would have, if it wasn’t for the AWSsome team stepping up, taking charge of the support tickets and the follow-up, and pushing the right buttons with Amazon."
Impact Highlights:
- Listed on AWS Marketplace in around 2 months of working together
- A blocking AWS-side issue escalated and resolved through AWSsome’s follow-up
- Other marketplaces attempted solo have dragged on for months, still unfinished
- Biggest value named: time, and expert guidance on who to reach and when

From listed to revenue
Listed for about two months, Falcons.ai hasn’t initiated Marketplace revenue yet — the next chapter. Bobbi’s advice to any founder heading to the Marketplace: save yourself the headache and the nightmare, because time is too important.
